It is an undeniable fact that The Undertaker is one of the greatest legends that WWE has ever given to the world. The ‘Deadman’ has a great fan base attached to his image. Whenever there is WWE WrestleMania, there ought to be the Deadman. His iconic ‘The Streak’ is regarded as the greatest winning streak in the history of sports by The ‘42’. The Streak is the continuous series of undefeated matches that the Undertaker played at WrestleMania.
The Undertaker’s opponents at the event included legends such as Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Jimmy Snuka. He won 21 mind boggling matches making the streak to be 21-0 until 2014 where he was defeated. Brock Lesnar broke the streak and made the score to be 21-1. He just did not break the streak but also broke with it, the hearts of many sports fans across the globe. WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg was one of these fans.

Road Dogg was on the ‘Oh… You Didn’t Know?’ podcast where he revealed how he reacted when the news of the Undertaker being defeated broke out to him. He was working with the WWE management at that time and on the decision of the management he said, “I disagreed, but again, it’s creative decisions that neither… I don’t want to say they don’t matter, but they don’t.” His wife texted him to tell that the Undertaker had lost but he thought she was joking.
He went into denial and couldn’t believe that whatever happened was true. He recalled the guy whose face went viral after Brock Lesnar defeated the Undertaker. Road Dogg said that everyone who was associated with the match felt the same. He thought that the company did not make a correct decision on making the Deadman loose and thus break the streak.
Many are of the opinion that Brock Lesnar was the suitable person to have defeated The Undertaker. Brock had just entered the WWE ring after having a massive career at UFC. It was the peak of his career and was the highlight of the company at that time. The Undertaker played matches at WrestleMania that succeeded his defeat but that didn’t really matter. The fans wanted their legend to walk out of the ring undefeated in his legendary streak.
