The career that The Undertaker has had is a dream for many. Since retirement, the WWE Hall of Famer has introduced a different version to the WWE Universe. The Prince of Darkness is long gone and WWE Universe now only knows about Mark William Callaway. Recently, The Phenom shed light on the sudden passing of WWE legend, Owen Hart, on the day of WWF Over The Edge 1999.
On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Deadman discussed the ungrateful night of Hart’s passing. The Lord of Darkness stated how difficult it was to process the sudden passing of his colleague.
Also, it was difficult having to perform on the same night. Moreover, he stated how he couldn’t celebrate his World Title win, and everyone including Vince McMahon was forced to do their jobs.
One minute he’s there, the next he’s not, and you have to go out, put the pieces together and try to perform. It was probably one of the most difficult, definitely mentally, one of the toughest days I ever had. If you go back and watch the footage, you can see it on everybody’s face.

Furthermore, The 58-year-old legend stated how the unfortunate day still haunts him today and how his fellow wrestlers entertained the fans despite not being mentally present. There was minimum time for anyone to focus on what happened and how to assess the situation according to the 7-time WWE Champion.
Since retiring, Big Evil appears on his podcast and hosts Undertaker 1 deadMan show before some PLEs. The Undertaker shares his thoughts on the current faces of the Stamford-based company and discusses various moments from his wrestling legacy. Recently, Mean Mark opened up about his dream match with retired AEW Superstar Sting almost coming to fruition.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther gets praised by The Undertaker
Getting noticed and praised by a veteran tells a lot about someone’s credibility, especially in the wrestling world. Recently, The Undertaker praised the in-ring work of none other than Gunther. In the aforementioned interview, The American Badass expressed his impressiveness by Raw Superstars’ work inside the ring.
The Punisher feels that The Ring General is like a throwback to a different era and can easily tell stories. Moreover, he stated how dangerous and fatal the chops by the 36-year-old superstar can prove to be. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to wrestle him hoping he had more fuel in the tank to fight the champ.
Last week on Raw, Sami Zayn won the six-man gauntlet match and secured his title match against the Austrian wrestler. This week on Raw, the two Superstars signed the dotted line to make the match official. It will be interesting to see if The Great Liberator has what it takes to put an end to the longest-reigning Intercontinental Championship reign of all time.
