Theory explained the reason for his failed MITB contract cash-in at SummerSlam
During a recent interview with NBC Sports Boston, Theory revealed the reason for his failed cash in at SummerSlam. He claimed that since the live SummerSlam event, everyone has been talking about his unsuccessful cash in and that he was unable to address it. According to theory, his failed effort to cash in was caused by the absurdly lengthy ramp, and anybody else trying to cash in at that event would have also failed.
The former US Champion stated that he knew Roman and Brock were going to destroy each other and that it was his opportunity to cash in his contract, but he had no idea the ramp would be so long. He indicated that the long entrance to the ring alerted the two wrestlers and thereby he failed to cash in the contract.
Recently, Theory also made an appearance on Under The Ring Podcast, where he spoke about John Cena, to whom Theory has been compared. The Mr. Money in the Bank spoke about the moment he attempted a selfie with John Cena on his 20th anniversary celebration and the Cenation leader walked away paying no heed to him. The Former United States Champion joked that a lot of people said that he walked away but you can’t see him.
“I know when I took my selfie with John Cena, a lot of people say he walked away, but you can’t see him. So, I mean, I don’t know.”
On a recent episode of RAW, Theory approached his The Way comrade Johnny Gargano, who super kicked him. This also marked Johnny Gargano’s return to WWE.
