It is nothing secret that John and Theory have been entangled in a verbal war since a long time now. As Theory is growing fame for his in ring actions, even single handedly defeating The Demon on Monday Night RAW. John Cena had also won this US title first long back in 2004 on his debut days, thus the comparison between these two superstars slowly rounding the corner.

John Cena had his birthday last week, and Theory didn’t lose the opportunity to garner people’s attention out of that event also. He greeted Cena with a birthday message and also stated that he is a better United States champion than the former champion ever was. Even Vince McMahon has acknowledged him as the “young John Cena” as the Chairman is also seeing great potential in the newcomer.

“I’m not surprised [on reports that Theory could be the next John Cena] at all. I could see pretty much the layout of the land as far as which guys are going to be moving up, which guys are going to be used to move certain guys up. Theory, he’s young, he’s got a look about himself, when he goes in the ring his performance is on point. He checks off every box, for me, as far as a guy that can get to the next level.”

“We don’t remember a whole lot of flops from John Cena. You’re not going to remember a whole lot of bloopers in John Cena’s reel. You’re not going to see it – maybe any. That’s where the test begins with Theory and I think it’s a test he’s going to pass.”

Theory is no doubt a John Cena fan from his childhood and wants to become successful just like what his role model achieved in the WWE industry. Thus, he is also happy to announce that he can be a perfect opponent for John Cena in his retirement match. He even tweeted to reach out Cena to say that he is even a better champion than him.

“John Cena has always been my inspiration not just in wrestling but in life. I modeled my life at a very young age on what I seen him present on TV. Watching him was always my escape when things weren’t going so good in my life. He is without a doubt a true role model,” Theory said.
