“Ronda Rousey definitely lit a spark”; WWE producer TJ Wilson opens up on the return of Ronda Rousey at Royal Rumble 2022
Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey has undoubtedly been very impressive for the wrestling industry since her debut back at WrestleMania 34. While the Baddest Women on the Planet missed three years of her career lately, it has never made the WWE Universe forget about her and think that her career with the greatest sports entertainment company in the world was over.
WWE Producer TJ Wilson, also known as Tyson Kidd, recently opened up on his views for the return of the Baddest Women on the Planet at Royal Rumble 2022. The former WWE superstar said that he was impressed by the former Raw Women’s Champion’s performances. Here’s what he said:

“Ronda’s WWE career, like we saw that first run for Wrestlemania 34 to 35. And it was awesome! You know, she had a hell of a run and now in the three years she’s been gone, the game’s changed quite a bit. You know, she definitely lit a spark and definitely helped elevate the women’s division as a whole, that first run in big time. I don’t know, like I don’t know all the inner workings as much as people maybe think I do. I don’t know if the women would have main evented that first time without Ronda being involved.” – Sportskeeda
Ronda Rousey could be the future SmackDown Women’s Champion
While Ronda Rousey has not been a champion in WWE since her loss to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35, the Baddest Women on the Planet could be winning one very soon. Rousey is currently engaged in a feud with the Queen, Charlotte Flair and has challenged her for the SmackDown Women’s Championship once at WrestleMania 38 which has a controversial ending.
Now Rousey has another shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship when she challenges Flair at WrestleMania Backlash in an ‘I Quit Match’. This has not only raised the stakes for their match at the upcoming premium live event but has also found the Baddest Women on the Planet getting a lot of support from the WWE Universe.
