Bloodline member Paul Heyman is all set to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The whole wrestling world has been praising the contribution of Heyman to the business. Recently, WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer reacted to the induction of WWE legends despite being on the loggerheads for the majority of their careers.
Dreamer reacted to the post by WWE on X with some praise for Heyman. He stated that the Bloodline member has been an impactful entity wherever he has been. Moreover, the OG of Extreme went on to say that the Wise Man is great at everything he has ever done and has been an important part of the world of professional wrestling.
Congratulations @HeymanHustle entire career made a mark wherever he went Florida,Continental,Memphis,AWAWCW,ECW WWE He changed the industry He is great at everything he has ever done in the wrestling business Well deserved.Tommy Dreamer on Paul Heyman
In essence, it was a shocker for wrestling fans to see Dreamer say such high praise for Heyman. Once, the Innovator of Violence wanted to execute the 58-year-old in the ring. There was a time when the two entities of professional wrestling were at bitter ends. Therefore, these praises generated a lot of buzz around Tommy Dreamer on the internet.
Dreamer and Heyman have worked together in the past during the time of ECW. Moreover, Heyman had rejected the offer to be in the Hall OF Fame previously. Finally, he accepted the offer to be inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2024, before the biggest WrestleMania of all time in Philadelphia.
Tommy Dreamer was going to kill himself and Paul Heyman on live TV
The relationship between Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman has been strained. It took an obnoxious turn once when Dreamer constructed a plan to execute Heyman on live TV during WrestleMania 17. It was due to the frustration he had with the Wiseman that he decided to do so. It was revealed by the ECW legend himself on his House of Hardcore podcast a few years ago.
The OG of Extreme revealed that Heyman pleaded with him to stay in ECW after he was offered $750,000 by WCW to join. However, the Wiseman himself joined WWE in 2001 after ECW ceased. Therefore, in depression, Dreamer decided to shoot the now-58-year-old superstar on live TV and then shoot himself while posing in the ring at WrestleMania 17 in 2001.
At WrestleMania, I was gonna hop the rail and I was gonna whack Paul E. [Heyman] in the back of the head right at the announce table, then I was gonna whack myself. The ultimate martyr, I was gonna hit my pose, crack, boom, pull the trigger. Because I was that insane, don't know if I would have went through with it, but that's what I was thinking about every day.Tommy Dreamer on Paul Heyman
However, nothing went as planned, and Dreamer never laid out his plan. Later on, the former ECW star revealed that he was depressed and that he should have gone for serious help. In fact, all his anger was directed at Heyman, who was coming out of frustration. Now, the two stars are on good terms. Besides, the Bloodline member is a prominent part of professional wrestling and has made a huge contribution to the business.
