AEW All In is set to take place in three weeks and looks grander in every aspect. The biggest wrestling show of AEW is set to happen at Wembley Stadium in London on August 27, with 75,000 tickets already being sold for it. But the leap of AEW does not stop here, as the very next Sunday after All In, AEW will hold another event in Chicago. WWE did the same thing in 1991 when it held back-to-back shows. It looks like Tony Khan has been planning to recreate the same experiment that WWE once did.

However, back then, the results of this experiment were not positive and made WWE suffer a loss at that time. Since then, Impact has only tried doing weekly pay-per-view shows, which also did not work out for them. But now Tony Khan has been experimenting the same way, as the All Out pay-per-view will take place on September 3, just six days after All In. The Wrestling Observer has reminded fans such an instance that WWE did in 1991 but faced several repercussions.

Survivor Series in 1991 on Wednesday saw the main event where Hulk Hogan defended his WWF Championship against The Undertaker. The Phenom defeated Hogan and won the championship. Thus, to follow up on this feud another match had to be set up for the next pay-per-view. The following Tuesday saw an event being scheduled as “This Tuesday” in Texas, where the rematch for the WWF Championship happened.

AEW can pull out this stuff if they make their main event feel incomplete even after a classic match between MJF and Adam Cole. Thus, to continue the rivalry, an instant encounter between them can be held at All Out 2023 for the same price as the AEW World Championship. There could be a betrayal from Cole that might lead to the match for the next pay-per-view. Only time will tell how Tony Khan can make it happen successfully after learning from WWE’s failure.

The tag team of MJF and Adam Cole has gained massive popularity and love from the wrestling world. From being rivals to converting their bitter relationship into friendship, it has been a delight for the fans. This has not only made fans from all over the world tune into the weekly episodes but also made MJF a fan favorite.

The dynamic of ‘Better Than You, Bay Bay!’ began with Adam Cole not being on the same page. But over the weeks, MJF flourished the friendship between them, and they got along in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament. The storyline then progressed until the moment they became real friends and reached the finals of the aforementioned tournament.

But their ultimate test was in the finals, when they faced the AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR. After an incredible bout, Adam Cole and MJF came out unsuccessful. Now the story will have a different angle as MJF has offered a title shot to Cole for his AEW World Championship at All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27.
