The whole wrestling world was taken aback when the news of Sara Lee‘s death broke out. The 30 year old superstar had no signs of disease or illness. The reason behind her death has still not been brought out to the public.
Sara Lee did not have a long WWE career. It was hardly a year-long career contract. She was one of the 13 finalists in running the ‘Tough Enough‘ season 6. Despite being on the verge of elimination multiple times, she won the hearts of the audience.
For the love that the audience showered upon her, she not only won the show along with $250,000 but also got a one year contract with WWE. She does not have many matches to her name. WWE helped Sara Lee to train herself as other superstars in their WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
In her short career, she also had the privilege to showcase herself as a heel. Her contract with the company expired in September, 2016. Yet she remained an iconic celebrity in all these years specially as the winner of ‘Tough Enough’ season 6.
WWE expresses condolences at Sara Lee’s demise
The WWE Universe is in a state of shock at the news. On behalf of the entire wrestling community, WWE expressed condolences to her family, friends and fans. “WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. As a former “Tough Enough” winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world.”
Sara is a mother of three children. “Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row. First ever sinus infection kicked my butt,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday. There are no words to be said at this moment. We pray for strength to her family, friends and everyone in the WWE Universe to bear the tremendous loss.
