WWE has been on a roll ever since they widened their reach for their PLEs. While they have sold out multiple US arenas, WWE is now looking at certain international ones. And in 2024, the Stamford-based promotion will head over to Toronto for three nights of exciting shows. WWE has announced that Money in the Bank PLE will be taking place at Scotiabank Arena on July 6, 2024.
WWE took to their social media and official website to announce their shows lined up for Toronto in the first weekend of July. A night before Money in the Bank, Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled at Scotiabank Arena too. On Sunday, NXT Heatwave will also experience the Canadian crowd.
The CCO of WWE, Triple H, also showed his excitement for the event to be held in Toronto. He first lauded the city for being passionate about sports entertainment. The Game then added to his excitement, stating WWE will continue to lock down their globally focused schedule in 2024.

Money in the Bank 2023 in London was a massive success
On July 1, 2023, WWE Money in the Bank was scheduled at the O2 Arena in London. This marked the first time London had hosted a PLE since 2002. Apart from the anticipated bouts, the British crowd was full of life during the show. The success of Money in the Bank 2023 was defined later, as it was known to be the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history. The opener of the show was a traditional Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
While the fans expected LA Knight to pick up the win, WWE went over with Damian Priest to grab the briefcase. Later, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championship from Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler‘s breakup. Gunther defended his Intercontinental Championship against Matt Riddle, only to be confronted by Drew McIntyre later. A filler match saw Cody Rhodes defeating “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.
Next up was the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder, which had the result according to fans’ wishes. Iyo Sky grabbed the contract in a highly impressive bout and stood tall among the five women. Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. While the main event was the best match of the night, The Bloodline Civil War saw The Usos defeat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
