On the latest episode of Raw, the WWE-UFC merger under TKO saw its first major collaboration between both companies. Lightweight division fighter, Michael Chandler, was in attendance for the show in Anaheim, California. Furthermore, he called out his rival, Conor McGregor, after the UFC 300 fight snub. Now, WWE CCO and legend, Triple H, has commented for the first time on Chandler’s appearance.
The Game posted a photo with the 37-year-old on his Instagram account. Moreover, Triple H suggested that this was just the beginning of such WWE-UFC crossovers since the TKO merger. Hunter expressed his gratitude to Chandler for showing up for tonight’s Raw taping. Interestingly, the show was held in the same arena where UFC 298 took place on Saturday.

Anything can happen at a @tkogrp takeover. Great to have @mikechandlermma at #WWERaw tonight.

Since the Endeavor deal in September, fans have speculated on how frequently the two promotions would partner up. TKO higher-ups hinted at future projects between WWE and UFC, including back-to-back night events. After what transpired on Raw, fans can expect more crossovers in the coming months. Ahead of WrestleMania, the Stamford-based promotion might take advantage of the opportunity to promote the product in the MMA company.
Meanwhile, Chandler will have to wait for a response from McGregor. For months, the pair were almost confirmed for a showdown at UFC 300. However, Dana White revealed in a recent interview that a return to the Octagon seemed unlikely as the Irishman had other commitments.
What else transpired on Monday Night Raw?
The latest episode of Raw was perhaps the best in a long time. The show kicked off with a WrestleMania-worthy clash between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes, which ended in the latter suffering a loss. Later, Nia Jax sent a message to her Elimination Chamber opponent, Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, Chad Gable continued to gain momentum on the Road to WrestleMania.

Raquel Rodriguez made her return in the last-chance women’s battle royal and booked the final spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Judgment Day picked up a win en route to their title defense in Perth in an entertaining eight-man tag team match.
The main event saw Gunther successfully defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jey Uso. Jimmy cost his brother a chance to win a singles title, attacking him and standing tall to close the show. All in all, the episode left fans hyped for both Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.
