Triple H finally expressed his opinion on Cody Rhodes’ throne-breaking moment
Cody Rhodes played a really important role in putting AEW on the map. The Jacksonville-based company became a direct rival to WWE when he broke the throne with a sledgehammer. Now, Triple H has finally broke his silence on this incident.

Hunter gave an interview on Allen & Carly, where he shed some light on what his thoughts were on that incident. The Game stated that he laughed about it then and admired Cody’s growth in the business. Triple H also talked about Dusty Rhodes‘ influence on him and the company, as he saw him as a mentor.
I laughed about it then. People make that stuff out to be so much more than it is. If I was in his shoes, I'd done the same thing. And it's one of the things that I love about Cody is, that I watched Cody go from being a kid in this business, and I don't mean that as disrespectful, He's a kid.Triple H on Cody Rhodes via Allen & Carly
The relationship between Cody and Hunter has now been much better, as he has accomplished so many things since his return. The American Nightmare will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal title at WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see whether Cody finishes his story at the Show of Shows or not.
