In late January of this year, a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filed a s*xual trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon. The lawsuit mentioned an instance of the 78-year-old once trying to use her as a bargaining chip for a WWE Superstar’s contract negotiations. According to sources, the wrestler referenced was Brock Lesnar. As a result, the promotion removed him from programming and affiliated video games. Now, the CCO Triple H has provided an update on his status.

During last night’s WrestleMania post-show presser, Hunter revealed that Lesnar is still under WWE contract. While addressing his absence, he claimed that it was just that The Beast is currently at his home “being Brock.” He also confirmed that there were talks of a potential return during the Royal Rumble season. Previously, there were reports that Lesnar was pulled from creative plans indefinitely amid his alleged involvement.

Many were under the belief that a comeback to the company seemed unlikely. However, Triple H‘s comments make it look otherwise. According to rumors, the former UFC star was supposed to face Gunther at the Showcase of Immortals. On the road to this “dream” clash, Brock Lesnar would’ve been involved in a short-term program with Dominik Mysterio

Similar to McMahon, WWE erased Lesnar from its opening video package and website profile page. As for the former chairman, he faced similar treatment by the company that he used to own. Aside from CM Punk‘s dig at him, WWE has preferred to avoid mentioning him on television, with speculation that name-dropping McMahon on live programming is a big ‘NO’ backstage.

Paul Heyman name-dropped Brock Lesnar twice at the Hall of Fame ceremony

One of the most influential figures in pro wrestling, Paul Heyman, headlined this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class. When the announcement was made, fans were curious as to whether he would mention The Beast Incarnate’s name or not. Evidently, Heyman went against the higher-ups’ wishes and name-dropped the former WWE Champion twice.

While listing the names of stars he managed throughout his career, Paul E. referred to Lesnar as the ‘one’ in 21-1. During the conclusion of his outstanding speech, he once again recalled his team as an advocate for The Beast. It is safe to say that The Bloodline’s Wiseman broke a number of rules on Friday night.

This did gain a lot of attention online, with many speculating whether Lesnar was returning or not. Despite all of the chatter surrounding him, things won’t be resolved quickly due to the severity of the matter. Hence, fans will have to wait and see how WWE continues to handle the serious situation.
