WWE has a tradition of sending custom championship titles to the winning teams from other sports to increase their engagement. Following the same tradition, WWE’s CCO Triple H sent out a WWE custom women’s championship title to the Las Vegas Aces, who won their second consecutive WNBA finals.

The Las Vegas Aces defeated the New York Liberty in the WNBA finals to win the championship. As a result, the WWE Hall of Famer took to X to congratulate the winning team. He posted a picture of the custom belt, which resembled the WWE Women’s Championship, currently held by Iyo Sky.

WWE had also done the same when Aces won the championships last year. Other than that, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets also received a championship when they won their first NBA championship ever. WWE, especially Triple H, has sent out the customary titles to the winners from the Premier Lacrosse League, World Series, WNBA, and other leagues.

Custom championship titles are big sellers on the WWE shop as well. Therefore, the merchandise can be a good symbol for WWE to widen their market and bring in more fans for the product. Under the new management at WWE, this is one of the moves that has received appreciation from fans everywhere.

Triple H reacts to WWE’s announcement about the upcoming PLE in Germany

WWE recently announced that they will be returning to Europe in the summer of 2024. They will be hosting “Bash in Berlin” in August 2024 at the MB Arena in Berlin, Germany. Therefore, fans around the world are excited for next year. The international PLEs in 2023 have been extremely successful for WWE in terms of business as well as popularity.

Therefore, the Stamford-based promotion plans to expand its global market. WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, recently commented on the announcement about the premium live event in Germany.

The other one is the Elimination Chamber, which will take place in Australia.
