Triple-threat championship match involving Randy Orton for WrestleMania XL teased heavily on SmackDown

The United States Champion, Logan Paul‘s title might be in danger as new challengers emerge to look for sweet revenge. It looks like Randy Orton and Kevin Owens have joined forces to fight against the bad guys on the Blue brand. 

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Orton and Owen teamed up to defeat the pair of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The chaotic duo of The Viper and The Prizefighter easily picked up the victory with a fantastic RKO to Theory. However, after the match, they were attacked by the U.S. champion himself.

Logan was ready to hit them with the brass knuckles, but Orton cleverly stole them from his hand. However, things took an exciting turn when The Viper almost landed the knockout punch on Owens. Although everything was sorted out between them, the glance they shared planted the seeds for a Triple-Threat match at WrestleMania.

Since Logan defeated Rey Mysterio and became the U.S. Champ, he only defended the title once by beating Owens controversially. The stakes are high, as now he has to overcome not one but two veterans in the form of Owens and Orton. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the upcoming weeks.

Grayson Waller described Randy Orton as ‘overrated’ before their match on social media

Grayson Waller made sure to get inside Randy Orton’s head before their match on SmackDown on social media. Although obviously, it didn’t work, as the tag team of Owens and Orton brutally beat them, his effort to get under Randy’s skin was commendable.

The 33-year-old took to X and said that he had been hearing some weird voices in his head. Waller further added that the voices have been telling him that Orton was overrated. He fell from Orton’s good books when the veteran caught him laughing at the video that showed Logan Knocking him out at Elimination Chamber.

Waller even requested to ban Orton’s devastating move RKO, because of the destruction it caused to him and his friends. Since Elimination Chamber, fans noticed something wrong between the notorious duo, as Waller always threw Theory under the bus in difficult situations. It will be interesting to see whether Theory turns face and takes revenge on Waller for everything that he’s done to him.
