Patricia Anne Stratigias well known around the world as Trish Stratus is a former WWE Women’s Champion and WWE Hall of Famer. Trish Stratus who had been a lifelong wrestling fan decided to pursue a career in wrestling when was approached by WWE after spotting her on many magazine covers. Trish made her debut in WWE on an episode of Heat in 2000. Trish won her first title in WWE at Survivor Series where she became the WWE Women’s Champion for the first time in her career.
Trish Stratus also won the WWE Hardcore Championship after pinning Crash Holly but lost it to Steven Richards shortly after. Trish Stratus would have memorable feuds with the likes of Jazz , Victoria for the WWE Women’s Championship which saw Trish win the coveted championship a number of times. Trish Stratus along with Lita would go on to main event Raw which was the first time in the shows history that two female wrestlers were in the main event. Trish and Lita would have a storied rivalry which saw both wrestlers reaching new heights in their career.

Trish Stratus was involved in a romantic storyline with Vince McMahon early in her career
Trish Stratus is considered as one of the greatest female wrestlers to ever step foot in the WWE ring. Trish during her time in WWE managed to win the WWE Women’s Championship for a total of 7 times. Trish Stratus is considered by many current WWE female superstars as their inspiration behind them being in the wrestling business.
Trish in her time with WWE has had many career defining moments which make her the legend she is today some of which are controversial as well. One of the most controversial and widely talked about segment involving trish is when she was asked to strip down and was made to bark like a dog in a WWE ring by Vince McMahon. This was before Wrestlemania X-Seven when Trish Stratus was romantically involved with Vince McMahon in a storyline involving the whole McMahon family.
Trish Stratus opened up about the controversial segment in a interview with The Bump revealing the details and what was her take on the whole incident :
“As everyone knows it was a long journey of questionable moments before that between Vince and I,” Stratus said. “As a character, I knew this was the end point and it was culminating in this point.
“Everything we did, including THAT event, was worth it. It was completely worth it for the character and the evolution of the character. And it meant that much more for us to get there to that point. It was an awesome moment for me as a character.”
Following the incident Trish Stratus would turn face for the first time in her career after slapping Mr. McMahon at Wrestlemania. Trish Stratus made her return to WWE in 2019 when she faced of Charlotte Flair at Summerslam.
