MJF successfully came out of AEW’s Double or Nothing as the AEW World Champion. He defended his title against Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy and, Darby Allin in the Four Pillars Fatal Four-Way match on May 28th. The event was followed by a media scrum, including the company’s CEO, Tony, and several other AEW stars. They discussed their matches and futures within the company.

The conference started with MJF and Tony Khan addressing the media, who asked them several things. The AEW Champion started off by saying that he had the best Fatal Four-Way match. He added that he defeated Darby Allin twice with his Headlock Takeover. He continued talking about his greatness before answering the ‘non-rhetorical questions’ of media people.

A journalist asked MJF about his thoughts about his match not being the main event of the show. To which he hilariously answered that he is not concerned about his match positioning on show. He said that he actually liked not rolling out in Jon Moxley‘s blood. Following this answer, Friedman took his first shot at WWE. He mentioned that, whether in AEW or WWE, the world title match going on as the main event is outdated now.

The AEW World Champion took another shot at the rival company when he mentioned Triple H and Tony Khan. He said that both companies want to bring MJF into their respective promotions. Friedman made it clear that when he says, “Take my balls and go home!” he doesn’t certainly talk about WWE as people assume it to be. He further relaxed Khan telling him to calm down saying “It’s fine” and hilariously continued whispering, “or maybe, it’s not.”

The same thing happened at the media scrum that took place after AEW’s Double or Nothing event on May 28. The Salt of the Earth had also mentioned the Stamford-based company earlier in the conversation. But fans saw Tony Khan astonished this time as soon as he heard both Triple H and WWE‘s mention from MJF. Friedman was unapologetic for his actions and seemed unconcerned about his talks.
