The Judgment Day members, Finn Balor and Damian Priest, won the Undisputed Tag Team Titles and have fought hard to not let them go that easily. They have defeated all challengers who have stepped up to them and held the titles for 115 days and counting. However, they might’ve found their toughest challenge yet in the newly formed tag team of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.

Multiple tag team qualifying matches were held to decide the No. 1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles. The four teams from Raw and the four teams from SmackDown battled in fatal four-way matches. Subsequently, #DIY won the Raw bout, while the team of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate won the SmackDown match.

They met on the latest episode of SmackDown to determine who would challenge Judgment Day for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships. After an enthralling encounter, Dunne hit the brutal Bitter End to pick up the win. As a result, they will now challenge the notorious faction at the Elimination Chamber PLE in Perth, Australia.

‘Butch’ recently found his own identity and changed his name back to Pete Dunne with the help of Tyler Bate, who got called up from NXT. They won a few tag team matches on the trot, defeating the likes of Pretty Deadly, L.W.O., and Legado Del Fantasma. It will be interesting to see whether they continue their momentum by becoming the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions or not.

The tag team division is alive and well, with teams like #DIY and Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate getting the opportunity to show what they are capable of.
