WWE is on a streak of hosting star-studded live events as 2023 comes to an end. The Best in the World, CM Punk has been one of the prime attractions, and it seems he is getting visitors during the show as well. He recently met with the WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi backstage in a show of goodwill between the two.

WWE recently hosted a live event in the city of Inglewood. The company’s Instagram handle also shared the video where Punk can be seen backstage before his bout. It was a wholesome moment as he was endorsed by WWE legend Rikishi. Both individuals grinned ear to ear as they hugged. The former Intercontinental Champion conveyed a message for the Second City Saint.

How are you, my man? God bless you son, it's good to see you man. Welcome home!

Rikishi is known for keeping a close eye on the happenings in WWE. His recent interaction with Punk also suggests the positive note on which legends like him are receiving the return of the Second City Saint. It would be interesting to see whether the two would be able to pull off a live television appearance or not.

LA Knight calls out CM Punk at a recent Live Event

All eyes have been fixed on the Best in the World ever since he made his return at Survivor Series. It seems the Megastar hasn’t been dealing well with this fact. At a recent Live Event in Utica, LA Knight cut a promo where he told Punk “to get in line.” The Second City Saint wasn’t the only one who got called out. The Viper, Randy Orton was also on the list.

If Roman Reigns finds enough tingle in his loins to actually show up. He’s got a lot of people looking for him. But guess what, boys? CM Punk, Randy Orton, everybody else, you’ve got to get in line because I ain’t asking ya, I’m telling ya whose game this is.

The Megastar has been appreciative of the support that many superstars have given him. However, the growing number of challengers for the Tribal Chief has also triggered him. He last faced the Head of the Table at Crown Jewel 2023.

Since then, fans have still awaited against whom the Tribal Chief defends his title next. It seems many hopes will be tied around the triple-threat match at SmackDown New Year’s Revolution.
