UPDATE : Ronda Rousey’s WWE suspension not expected to be long, plans on when she could return possibly revealed
Ronda Rousey
WWE announced an indefinite period of suspension over Ronda Rousey after she went berserk after losing her Smackdown Women’s Championship match this past Saturday night against Liv Morgan at Summerslam. The match didn’t went too long and during the ending moments, Morgan surprisingly pinned Rousey in the most unusual way planting her shoulder to the mat without much of an offense being needed to overcome The Baddest Woman on the Planet.
This Championship bout was basically a rematch from last month’s Money in the Bank event where Liv Morgan successfully cashed-in her contract over an already drained up Ronda Rousey to win the Smackdown Women’s Title. Their Summerslam contest was built up like how would the new and rising star in Liv Morgan would be able to overcome the brutality of someone like Rousey and that too in her first Championship defense.
After Ronda lost the match, replays shown on the screens suggested that her right shoulder was clearly off the mat which the referee was unable to locate due to being blindsided during the whole process. Knowing that she has ended up on the losing side, Ronda grew up in anger and disbelief which finally led to her heel turn which man fans have been actually demanding for quite a while as she looks more sadistic and threatening in that character rather than being a babyface.

For how long Ronda Rousey is expected to miss WWE programming as part of her suspension?
Following up on her actions last Saturday night in Nashville in which she attacked the match referee as well, WWE has suspended her for an undisclosed period of time and she has been fined in the process too. But the question which arises here is for how long we will have to wait for Ronda Rousey’s return?
Well, you don’t have to worry much about that as Dave Meltzer is reporting that her suspension is not expected to last longer than few weeks fewer than a month. In addition, she’s being booked for the upcoming Clash at the Castle premium live event which will emanate from the Principality Stadium located in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
“Not that long. I mean, she’s booked on the Cardiff show, so she’s going to be unsuspended at least before – I think she’ll be out for I don’t know how long, but it’s not going to be a month, put it that way because she’s got to be back for the pay-per-view show.”
