REVEALED: Huge update over WWE RAW moving back to TV-14 in the coming weeks

WWE RAW to remain on TV-PG rating

WWE RAW won’t be returning to ‘TV-14’ as confirmed by Andrew Zarain on Twitter. After hearing that the “PG Era” of “Raw” ends, WWE fans were agog. The Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian tweeted on 14th July that the ‘PG Era’ of WWE RAW was officially over, though there was no update regarding this WWE. The news source has since changed his story slightly.

According to Zarian, a document claiming RAW’s switch to TV-14 started making its way around the USA network on Thursday morning. The memo was apparently distributed while the switching date was still under decision. Zarian also explained his POV and background events between WWE and the USA network and the source of his initial report. Andrew Zarian deleted his initial tweet about the circumstance since he didn’t want rumors to develop.

Andrew Zarian’s latest tweet

WWE RAW switched to ‘PG’ rating programming on June 22, 2008. The previous profanity and obscene materials were filtered to attract sponsorships from big mainstream players. WWE sought to make its television programming more family-friendly.

The filtration took place as Linda McMahon transitioned from the WWE to politics. Despite losing twice in the Senate between 2010-2012, Linda filled in the post of Small Business Administration under the reign of Ex-President and WWE hall of fame Donald Trump. He resigned from the post in 2019.

There is no recorded change in the rating for “SmackDown.” SmackDown will most likely remain TV-PG. SmackDown broadcasts on the Fox network in the USA. It has been running on Fox since 2019. WWE’s NXT also carries a TV-PG classification and airs on the USA network.
