BREAKING: Update over the status of Brock Lesnar in WWE; plans for Backlash revealed

Brock Lesnar has not been seen in WWE since his loss at the Biggest match in WrestleMania history at the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All. The Beast Incarnate lost to Roman Reigns who unified the Universal and the WWE Championship and get crowned the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Brock Lesnar was initially scheduled to appear at WrestleMania Backlash and was being advertised for the show. But the former WWE Champion was suddent removed from the advertisements of the premium live event which was disappointing for the WWE Universe. The rumors of his appearance at the premium live event brought in some predictions for the main event of WrestleMania 38 as well but all of them went wrong.

According to recent reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE was advertising the Beast for Wrestlemania Backlash intentionally so that there were some predictions for Lesnar as well at WrestleMania 38 though everyone knew that the predictions were wrong. Here’s what the report claimed:

“It is notable WWE had first advertised Brock Lesnar, even though he was never supposed to be on the show. The explanation was that if they didn’t advertise Lesnar, it would give people the clue that Lesnar wasn’t winning at Mania. Anyway, it’s direct false advertising.”

Brock Lesnar is still reportedly set to appear at Money in the Bank

Though Lesnar has been removed from advertisements of WrestleMania Backlash, the company is still advertising the former WWE Champion for Money in the Bank and SummerSlam scheduled for July. The WWE Universe is very intrigued as what would be next for Lesnar will not go after Reigns again.
