BREAKING: Update over the status of Mustafa Ali after a shocking return on Raw; future in WWE revealed

One of the most shocking returns of the year include the one of the Mustafa Ali who missed a lot of TV time lately. The former 205 live Superstar had also requested for his WWE release publicly which was denied by the company leading to Ali having to wait until now. But nobody expected the company to bring him back when he had brought a bit of controversies for them.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently reported what the company had in future for Mustafa Ali and also gave a view over his contract status. This were also led by some internal plans that were made for Ali prior to his return and the change of plans for his match on Monday Night Raw. Here’s what the report says:
“Ali’s WWE contract is up in mid-2024. WWE had the ability to freeze his deal due to inactivity, but they hadn’t as of his return. It’s still possible that they will extend the contract due to the period of inactivity, but there’s been no indication that this will happen.” – WrestlingInc
Mustafa Ali confronted the United States Champion after his return on Raw
While a segment of the Miz TV involving United States Champion Theory as the guest was going on, Mustafa Ali made a surprise return to WWE and confronted Vince McMahon’s prodigy challenging him for a match. While the Miz stepped in and was confused how Ali was still in WWE, Theory had a chat with Vince McMahon and got a match official.
The chairman made a match between the Miz and Mustafa Ali official which led to the returning superstar getting the pinfall victory. While Ali was celebrating, Ciampa attacked him from behind and took him down. This seemingly hints that Ciampa vs Mustafa Ali will be witnessed soon but their rivalry might involve Theory in it as well.
