WWE has never been on the kind of hot streak it is currently on in the past decade. After the return of huge names like CM Punk, Andrade, and Naomi in recent times, all eyes were on Mercedes Mone to make her grand return to the company at the Royal Rumble. However, some recent reports highlight another possibility for Mone’s future in professional wrestling.

According to PWInsider, Mercedes Mone, a.k.a. Sasha Banks, is all set to return to professional wrestling. However, this return is not going to be for WWE. Although it is not yet clear where Mone will be making her comeback, the report debunks rumors of Blueprint returning to the Stamford-based promotion.

For the past few months, there have been constant teases from Banks about her WWE aspirations. Fans have been taking this report with a grain of salt. There is nothing official at the moment, and Mone has not given any updates on her return so far. However, she was rumored to be heading to AEW as well.

Only time will tell where the Boss is going to land in her quest to return to the squared circle. Mercedes Mone injured her ankle in NJPW in mid-2023. She has since been out of action. It is going to be interesting to see where the future of the Standard is headed from here on out. Besides, she has been enjoying her time off from wrestling, which can be seen on her social media.

Mercedes Mone is one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling. She has been the talk of the town for over a month since announcing her recovery from the injury. A new report sheds light on the possibility of Mone possibly signing with AEW once she is fully fit.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Standard is currently involved in some acting. She will be signing for Tony Khan’s promotion in March. The reports add that AEW had been planning to sign the former NJPW Women’s Champion before they showed her at the AEW All-In in 2023.

Mone was doing acting work but there is talk her debut will be played up extremely big and that announcement could be soon. She has been back training to return to the ring. Her coming to AEW was expected for months, even before they showed her at Wembley.

AEW has also teased the debut of Mone a few times in the past. It is going to be downright shocking to see her debut at All Elite Wrestling. Besides, if she debuts in AEW, she can have face-offs with stars like Saraya, Britt Baker, and even Toni Storm.
