Vickie Guerrero is one of those people who have had an extremely good and popular run in the wrestling fraternity. She has strongly advocated for more and more women to take interest in the WWE and make a name for themselves in this business and for that she has consistently mentored various female wrestlers. She has previously held the post of general manager in WWE and played a heel extremely professionally. She now works for AEW and tries to hone the Women’s division in that company.
What does Vickie Guerrero feel about the Women’s Evolution in wrestling?
Vickie Guerrero recently appeared for an interview on the ‘What Culture Wrestling Podcast’ where she spoke candidly on a range of topics. She was asked questions on the growth of Women’s wrestling in recent times and she responded by expressing her joy over the fact that Women’s representation in wrestling business has increased substantially. She also added however that this is just the tip of the iceberg and that the women wanted much more.
This is what she said pertaining to the Women’s Revolution: “Yeah, to have the women have a voice now inside the ring, and you see them getting these main event matches, and more time on TV. To have them be heard is really exciting for the women’s division. There’s still a lot more work to do,” she said. “The women want more and that’s exciting for us. To see how much we’ve been trusted to be on TV more, it is really exciting to see.”
What does Vickie feel about Sasha banks?
Sasha Banks is one of the most popular women’s wrestlers in WWE. The Boss can boast of multiple title runs and she recently won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.
When Vickie Guerrero was asked about what she felt about Sasha Banks this is what she said: “She’s a great talent, she loves the industry, and she’s quite the character,” Vickie said. “So, to see her evolve in different phases in that, it’s fun to see that. Yeah, we are in different companies and stuff, but I watch all the products, and to see all the women, and to see what they’re doing in different promotions, it’s really fun.”
Vickie also spoke about her own job at AEW and the women’s division present there: “You know, there’s been a lot of growth in that division. With us hiring more women around the world like Toni Storm. It’s really exciting to see we are getting so much diversity,” To have them be a part of the locker room, it’s just going to get better.”
