Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship at Fastlane. In the main event of the show, he conquered the dangerous Shinsuke Nakamura in a gruesome Last Man Standing match. One of the most notable spots of the bout saw the champion fall from a height onto a supposedly concrete floor. However, a clip online has proved that this was not the case at all.

Instead, fan footage online shows Seth Rollins falling on what looks like a mattress. The live broadcast didn’t show the part to keep viewers under the illusion that the Visionary fell on hard concrete. Moreover, he fell on his back as the King of Strong Style targeted the area throughout their rivalry.

Despite the clip going viral, many members of the WWE Universe acknowledged that there was little to make a fuss about. Several high-risk spots are depicted under similar circumstances in the Stamford-based promotion. All in all, the video took nothing away from the enthralling encounter at the PLE.

After a hard-hitting feud, Seth Rollins will look forward to finding new contenders for the World Title. Previously, the former Shield member expressed his admiration for Ricochet and promised to give a championship opportunity to the high flyer. Meanwhile, Shinsuke Nakamura might continue the momentum from his new persona after Triple H praised the Japanese wrestler during the Fastlane press conference.

Possible reason why Seth Rollins retained the World Heavyweight Championship at Fastlane

Without a doubt, Shinsuke Nakamura is on the best run of his WWE career. Over the past couple of months, it has become clear that the Japanese wrestler is thriving under the new gimmick. Therefore, when he failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at Fastlane, it took fans by surprise.

However, this seemingly has to do with Seth Rollins’ current stance in the company. According to BWE, management is happy with the Visionary’s reign as he is pulling in good numbers, making him a top draw. As a result, it looks like Rollins won’t be dropping the title anytime soon.

The Architect may be heading towards a major program with CM Punk. As many might know, the Second City Saint is heavily linked to a return to the WWE. Also, a few references to Punk on-screen have involved Seth Rollins’ presence. Fans will have to wait and see how the coming months play out in regards to his return.
