Nobody in the world of professional wrestling is as powerful or as reclusive as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon without a doubt is the most influential figure in the wrestling industry. After taking over from his father Vince McMahon single handily changed the landscape of wrestling all over the world.
McMahon revolutionised the sport by exhibiting his trademark brazen ambition and natural promotional ability. He transformed wrestlers into child-friendly heroes by combining rock music, celebrities, and highly choreographed matches into a unique blend of sports and entertainment.

The Hall of Famer stated that when Vince McMahon started wrestling, he changed the size of the ring. During his recent conversation with Dave LaGreca, Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer on the Busted Open podcast Bully Ray revealed why Vince McMahon switched to a smaller ring after changing the size of the ring.
“Back in the day, you had Andre the Giant and all of these much bigger men and the ring needed to be able to support these much bigger men. But when Vince eventually decided to step in the ring and trained with Dr. Tom [Prichard], Vince was bumping in these really hard rings.
Dr. Tom decided, ‘Hey, we have a different ring down in the warehouse.’ It’s a bumping ring. It was an 18 x 18, old school, Southern bumping ring and Vince started bumping in the bumping ring and he said, ‘Why aren’t our rings like this? Our rings are stiff.’ And that’s when Vince and WWE decided to re-design their rings,” said the Hall of Famer.
Bully Ray also stated that he personally prefers the 18 X 18 rings as these rings allows the wrestler to extend their careers.Vince McMahon aged 76 famously stepped back in the squared circle at Wrestlemania 38 to face Patt McAfee, which was McMahons first match in almost 10 years. Bully Ray, on the other hand, hasn’t put down his wrestling. He is, however, enjoying his time away from the squared circle. Bully Ray is presently co-hosting the Sirius XM Radio pro-wrestling show Busted Open.
