Although whichever mudholes Vince McMahon got his foot into, he’s the ultimate creator of pro-wrestling and without him, this industry might’ve died years ago. At present, the 77-year-old is busy in carrying out negotiations of his multi-billion business. Leading the race of potential buyers for WWE are Saudi Arabia. They’re supposedly chasing the Stamford-based promotion beyond commercial purposes.
McMahon has price-tagged WWE for $9 billions. This value comes out even larger than the company’s own net worth. But, keeping that aside for now, there has been a significant update on Vince McMahon’s potential Hall of Fame induction plans. Last year, it was reported that the current CEO of WWE Board members could receive the honor in 2023. However, as per Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport, that’s not happening, at least in Hollywood.
The report notes that McMahon is currently not considered for the designation. In addition, former 6-time World Champion Batista is a frontrunner to receive his induction this year. It’s more like a “owe-me” case for the Guardians of the Galaxy star. Apart from these, The Great Muta and Lillian Garcia are other set of names under serious consideration to etch themselves into the 2023 Hall of Fame class.
“Vince McMahon ‘is not going to happen, at least as far as this year. Batista seems like it makes the most sense. It’s kind of owed to him. The Great Muta. I heard that was the trade off. I heard he’s going in as a trade off for the Shinsuke Nakamura match.”

The ongoing saga between Sami Zayn and The Bloodline is undoubtedly the greatest stuff WWE has produced in a long time. At the Elimination Chamber, the hometown hero of Montreal went down fighting against Roman Reigns. However, many of the higher-ups kept pushing for the Syrian descent wrestler to dethrone The Tribal Chief and put an end to his record-breaking title reign. Despite of that, the final decision landed in the favor of Reigns.
Additionally, in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that Vince McMahon has been certainly laying some personal inputs in the Roman-Sami story. A while ago, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported how WWE’s majority stakeholder has deferred the final say on Triple H. There were some concerns about Mr. McMahon’s eventual return to the head of creative position. However, that hasn’t happened yet.
