REVEALED : Vince McMahon reportedly still taking major decisions for the company even after stepping down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE

Vince McMahon recently stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE

Serving to the aftermath of his recent alleged $3 million scandal for settling an affair with an ex-WWE employee, Vince McMahon voluntarily stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE until the ongoing investigations is being undertaken upon himself. Stephanie McMahon was named as the Interim Chairwoman and CEO of the company with immediate effect.

Although many believed that Vince will lose his supreme power game of making the major decisions for the company as part of his step-down, the decision making rights of the former Boss hasn’t been affected by any of that as he’s still making almost every big decision there is to make for WWE.

Recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com confirmed that due to his partnered involvement in the $3 million hush, John Laurinaitis has been given an administrative leave for undisclosed period and he’s also been scrapped from his former Head of Talent Relations position in WWE. Following this up, Bruce Prichard has been named as the Interim Head of Talent Relations to fill in the gap created due to Laurinaitis’ absence.

Dave Meltzer has speaked about the driving force behind appointing Bruce Prichard as the new Head of Talent Relations on the latest edition of his Wrestling Observer Radio.

“Another thing about Bruce being the one in this position pretty much tells me that Stephanie’s a figurehead as opposed to… And it’s Vince making these decisions as far as putting Bruce in that position as opposed to hiring someone or putting someone else in that spot or whatever. That would be a big surprise for, like… Nick Khan? Would that be a surprise? No.”

As far as Dave’s theory goes, he still believes that despite losing his CEO position, Vince is still making key decisions for the company with the selection of Bruce Prichard in particular for the Talent Relations Head position being a major indicative of that. He also said that Bruce is his long-time loyal employee and as soon as the news regarding his new job came out, there was no doubt about who was behind this promotion. He also added that Stephanie McMahon is just acting as a figurehead.

He also made a surprise appearance on the following episode of Monday Night Raw and he again did the same thing. He took the mic, did some generic talk regarding the history of Monday Night Raw and also mentioned the already announced return of John Cena for next week inorder to hype up the crowd in every possible way he could and then left the ring. It is believed that Vince McMahon wants to make people feel the ongoing situations about himself as normal as he can by doing all this stuff.
