The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is one of the company’s biggest superstars right now. Many fans truly believe he is the face of the company, as he has won the most number of matches in 2023 and stayed on top of merchandise sales. Now, he has agreed to do one thing, which has never been done before.

WWE’s official Instagram handle shared a video of Rhodes addressing the fans at the WWE Live SuperShow in Spokane, Washington. One lucky fan, who was getting married soon had a special request for Rhodes. The wrestler accepted the request from the groom and announced that he would be his best man at the wedding.

The 38-year-old superstar wrestled his nemesis Shinsuke Nakamura in a street fight and came out victorious. Nakamura has been troubling the American Nightmare for the past few weeks. He defeated The King of Strong Style in a Bull-Rope match at the Madison Square Garden.

Rhodes further announced that Dominik Mysterio would be wrestling his ‘Mentor’ Randy Orton in a singles match. The 38-year-old is fully focused on completing the story as he will be taking part in the Royal Rumble in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see whether Cody wins the 2nd rumble in a row, or not.

Cody Rhodes motivates Ricochet to have the best 2024

While Cody Rhodes had the best year of his career in 2023, Ricochet had an equally bad year. Although he garnered some spotlight due to the huge Royal Rumble collision with Logan Paul, he was unable to do anything remarkable in 2023.

Recently, WrestleOps shared a tweet on X of the top 10 best pro wrestlers in 2023 by Sports Illustrated and Cody topped the list. The One and Only replied to the comment and was determined to enter the list in 2024, by his amazing performance.

Rhodes was quick to come up with a response that motivated him to touch new heights in the wrestling industry. The fans love Ricochet for his high-flying skills and expect him to win a title this year. As for the American Nightmare, the goal is simple in 2024: to become the world champion and finish the story.
