The team of Drew McIntyre and Judgment Day was unable to defeat the team of Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and returning Randy Orton in the main event at Survivor Series. Suffering the loss, the 38-year-old was not happy with his performance as he angrily stormed out of the arena.
The reason was still unknown why Drew stormed out. Some fans thought that it was about CM Punk, but it turned out that the 38-year-old was just not happy with his team’s performance. Drew addressed the WWE Universe with a video at today’s live event. He said he was angry that they lost, but now there is only one thing that can make him happy, and that is to win the World Heavyweight Championship in front of the crowd.
The 38-year-old vowed to break Seth Rollins‘ back, humble him, kick his a**, and take the championship away from him. By seeing the promo, fans quickly understood that it was all part of a storyline. It looks like Drew will stay in the title picture and continue his rivalry with Seth.
My stupid team lost the match for me. I was not in a great place but if there's one thing that can turn this around upside down, that can change things for me, I can't think of anything better for the big D to win the title in front of live fans but right here in Peoria, Illinois! I am gonna break his back, humble him, and kick his a** and take his title and then we are going to have an after-party.Drew McIntyre via WWE Live Holiday
Now that Drew has his eyes set on The Architect, Seth will have to do his best to defeat him as a new danger lurks in the background: CM Punk. Fans are already excited to see the rivalry between Punk and Rollins, so Drew would like to take this opportunity to insert himself in the top leagues.
Drew McIntyre may take some time off from wrestling
Drew Mcintyre showed frustration after the end of WarGames and stormed out of the arena. He still hasn’t talked with WWE about his contract. So the Scottish Psych*path may take a break from WWE and return after some time.
Drew said he wanted to spend some time with his family as his sister-in-law passed away. McIntyre will likely form a new heel faction with Gallus, which includes Joe Caffey, Mark Caffey, and Wolfgang on Raw. The 38-year-old was visibly upset with the company after not getting proper opportunities, and his contract is expiring soon.
From the latest promo, it looks like Drew will once again challenge Seth for his World Heavyweight Championship. Fans are expecting the Scottish Psych*path to finally win the gold in front of the crowd after a long time. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the next episode of Raw.
