TNA kicked off their new era with an iconic event, Hard to Kill. The show was pivotal to revitalizing the promotion, and it can be said that it delivered. TNA Hard to Kill was advertised with the tagline, No one knows who can show up. As it said, no one had any idea that former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler was going to show up at the event.
In the closing sequence of the event, Ziggler as Nic Nemeth attacked the new TNA World Champion, Moose. The moment was shocking after Nemeth recently appeared in NJPW as well. The Show Off laid an ambush on worn-out Moose, making clear that he was going for the top prize.
Moreover, Moose had an incredible match against Alex Shelby, in which he won the TNA World Championship. It kicked off a new era for TNA, and the debut of Dolph Ziggler has convinced the fans that there is more to come for the promotion in the future. Besides, Nic looked in great shape, and it can be said that he is better than ever.
Apart from Dolph Ziggler, former WWE stars such as Dana Brooke and Top Dolla also made their appearances on the show. It signified their debut in the promotion, as they will be working with the company in the future. It is going to be interesting to see where the future of Nic Nemeth with TNA is headed from here on out.
Matt Cardona challenged Dolph Ziggler for a match
The indie scene of professional wrestling is hotter than ever. With stars like Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, and Matt Riddle making a name for themselves outside WWE, There has been a lot of buzz around indie wrestling. Recently, the man who considers himself Indy God, Matt Cardona, laid out a challenge to Dolph Ziggler, a.k.a. Nic Nemeth, for a match anywhere he wants.
At GCW No Compadre, former WWE superstar Matt Cardona addressed the happenings in professional wrestling. He mentioned names such as Mustafa Ali and Top Dolla. However, he targeted Nemeth, making some bold statements about the superstar. Cardona challenged Nic for a match anywhere, anytime he wanted, to prove his supremacy.
Let me remind you, Nic. I’m the man that beat you to become the WWE United States Champion, and I fully intend to beat you again. So here we are. I’m laying out the challenge right here. It is going to be interesting to see the landscape of indie wrestling in 2024. There are very huge stars who have aligned themselves in indie wrestling, which has certainly affected the dynamics. There is no response from Nic Nemeth on the challenge at the moment. Only time will tell if the two ex-WWE stars will ever collide in the future.
