Seth Rollins reacts to Edge’s final match of his WWE contract
The wrestling industry may have bid goodbye to Edge last night on SmackDown. The Hall of Famer defeated longtime friend Sheamus in what was rumored to be his final match of his career. As the news broke online, Seth Rollins took to his X account to send a message to the WWE legend.
Obviously, the pair had a deeply personal and grueling rivalry in 2021. The Visionary uploaded three separate images of each match in their trilogy. The first one was their blockbuster fight at SummerSlam, which Edge won. Next was an image of an episode of SmackDown where they battled, in which Rollins emerged victorious.
This led to their rubber match at Crown Jewel inside the dangerous Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins would end up losing to the veteran in an intense fight. According to many in the WWE Universe, this was one of Edge’s greatest bouts of his career. Therefore, Rollins expressed his gratitude to the Hall of Famer for everything he has done.
