Alexa Bliss is one of the most prominent WWE Superstars of the current generation. Alexa Bliss’ rise from an NXT superstar with no wins on the brand to being the first woman to hold the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship in the company is really commendable. Alexa Bliss has now won every Championship that has been available for the Women in WWE. In recent years though, she hasn’t been able to win any of the major championship for women.
Alexa had last fought for the RAW Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules 2021, but failed to win the bout. Since then, she hasn’t been in the big picture. Alexa Bliss had taken some time off after her defeat at Extreme Rules to repair her nose which had been broken several times during her wrestling career and wanted to plan her wedding. Though Bliss has never injured much in her career, she had been sidelined once due to concussion occurred in a match against Ronda Rousey.

Alexa Bliss had said calling the profession of WWE superstar fake is really unfair
WWE Superstars are always ready to defend the company from those who question their profession by calling it fake. Alexa too had defended the profession of pro wrestling when her former rival Ronda Rousey called it fake. Back in 2020, Ronda Rousey, who was a member of the WWE at the time, branded it phony, and it was quickly picked up on by many of the company’s wrestlers, including Alexa Bliss.
During an interview with CBS Sport, Alexa Bliss stated that she and Ronda have always gotten along and that she admires her and all she has been through. Bliss claimed that everyone in the WWE was eager to help her succeed and that while Ronda had done a lot for them, they had also done a lot for her. She claimed that labelling pro wrestling fake is unjust because many wrestlers have sacrificed their lives while working in the sport. Bliss finished by noting that the outcome is predetermined and is referred to as the protagonist, antagonist conflict resolution.
“I’ll just start by saying I like Ronda. We’ve always gotten along, I have a lot of respect for her and what she does and what she’s been through, everyone [in WWE] was willing to help her succeed. She did a lot for us, but we also did a lot for her. A lot of bodies laid on the path she walked on. So, to say what we do is fake is really unfair. Yes, the finish is scripted, we say that it’s protagonist, antagonist and conflict resolution.”
Alexa Bliss has been currently teaming up with Asuka and the two had participated in the women’s tag tournament and had reached the semifinals of the tournament but failed to reach the finals. Alexa Bliss will team up with Bianca Belair and Asuka to fight Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky in six women tag team match at the Clash at the Castle live event.
