Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, as well as a pioneer in WWE. Alongside his celebrated career, Hulkamania has always found ways to stay relevant, whether through wrestling stories or outlandish claims. In 2015, Hogan was trolled for his comments regarding his appearance in first ever UFC card. Hulk’s claims were then denied by the co-creator of UFC and stated to be ‘bullsh*t’.

While speaking to Herald Sun in Melbourne, Hulk claimed that he was offered a spot in the UFC back in 1993, but he declined it. Hogan stated that it was “very violent” and he did not want to be a part of it. He then elaborated, stating that the referees were not even stopping the fight that needed to come to an end in UFC. Hogan then took a moment to acknowledge that the UFC business has turned out to be a phenomenon, but he kept his decisions intact.

A few days later, Sean Ross Sapp tweeted about the same statement and asked for a fact check directly from Campbell McLaren. The co-creator of UFC then hit back at Hogan in his reply to McLaren and stated, “I never wanted him in #OriginalUFC.” He called bullsh*t on Hulk and proved him to be a liar by trashing his claims.

In the same interview, Hogan stated that he is a big fan of the whole MMA scenario now, but not back then. He also wishes that American football had been as good as Australian football. He praised the Aussie’s technique of taking the hits and getting up. But when he sees the American version of it, he finds it boring enough.

“I was big pals with Lars Ulrich, and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica”. These words of Hulk Hogan justified him as a big liar. While speaking to The Sun, Hogan once said that the decision to join Metallica did not work out in the end. The statement was justified, as he used to play bass guitar in the early days.

But upon further asking Ulrich, he stated that he barely knew Hogan and ended the farce. But Hulk’s public exposure made him modify his lie. He stated that he wrote letters to the band and hoped for a call back from their management team. He then added the fact of not auditioning by saying, “Of course I didn’t, but I tried.”
