Drew McIntyre is one of the most dominant forces in WWE, He has shown the WWE Universe that he is capable of wrestling the best in the business and winning over them. McIntyre was unstoppable when he returned to WWE in 2017, which was his second run in WWE. He looked more powerful and muscular than his first run in WWE from 2009-2014. McIntyre started training as a wrestler from age 15 and wrestled around the independent circuit in UK from 2006-2007, Drew was signed to WWE in 2007 and made his debut in 2009.

Drew McIntyre has been a two-time WWE Champion and one time NXT Champion; He clinched the intercontinental Championship one time during his first run in WWE. Drew has also won the Royal Rumble 2020. At present, Drew McIntyre has been qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder match, which is to be held on this Sunday. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus beat the Usos on the June 24th edition of Smackdown to Qualify and claim their spots at the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Drew McIntyre began his feud with Brock Lesnar after Royal Rumble 2020

Drew McIntyre won the Royal Rumble 2020 and appeared on RAW the next day to challenge the Beast incarnate and the then WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Since then, they were involved in several interactions and brawls. Back in 2020, several weeks before the Flagship event, McIntyre had spoken with talkSPORT about one such interaction with between Lesnar and himself that occurred on RAW.

Drew had some words of appreciation for Brock Lesnar and talked about their intense showdown that happened on one of the editions of RAW before WrestleMania 36. Drew stated that Brock assisted him with his performance and made it look excellent in front of the audience.

“He’s the man,” McIntyre exclaimed. “In my experience, Brock has gone above and beyond to ensure I look as good as I can possibly look.”

He continued and said that during the physical altercation one of his kicks wasn’t planned but Brock went out of his way and felt the crowd, making it look authentic and good.

“Then I walked out, looked Brock in the eye and dropped him three times. And, I’m sure you probably noticed, one of those kicks wasn’t necessarily planned! He went out of his way – he felt the crowd because that’s how good he is and I’m a professional.”

 Drew McIntyre won the bout against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 and won the WWE Championship for the first time in his career. The match was one of the best ones in Drew’s career and had received critical acclaim.
