“My relationships are commented on a regular basis” – When WWE Diva Lita recalled her horrific storyline involving Kane and Edge

Those who have been following WWE for over two decades are aware of the intense storyline that evolved between Lita and Kane. Today, we will talk about that. As we step into a new year of American independence, the WWE continues to be the premier wrestling entertainment organization in the world.
In a way, it is carrying the stars and stripes way up in the year, while showing off the true spirit of American freedom. But there are critics who say WWE is all about entertainment and controversy. To some extent, this is true.
But these same critics wouldn’t spare an opportunity to watch the superstars fighting each other based on fabricated “larger than life” storylines. Over the years, the promotion has shown a plethora of ways to bring controversies to the spotlight and develop further storylines from there.
Some of such incidents happened when Kane and Lita were couples. Depending on the timeline of events surrounding the couple’s romantic storyline, they could either be found kissing in the ring or smacking each other backstage or even betraying each other (read Lita betraying The Big Red Monster for, guess who, Edge).
Today, we will recall some of the incidents from the timeline involving the triangle love story between Kane, Lita, and Edge.
Even to this date, Lita supposedly receives tweets and social media mentions regarding her storyline involving Kane and Edge.
She said in an interview, “It’s still talked about. My relationships are commented on on a regular basis, on my Instagram still or social media. Meanwhile, all of the men involved, you know, anything not controversial like with [CM] Punk or Edge or Matt, I guarantee they don’t get asked about it.”
How did it all start between Kane and Lita?
It was back in the summer of 2004, about 18 years ago, when Kane and Lita fell in love with each other. The Big Red Monster had just been defeated by The Undertaker at WrestleMania XX and he was a bit low in life. As a result, he was looking for new meaning in life. Consequently, he fell for Lita. But their relationship never shied away from controversies. They had a rough patch throughout their relationship tenure.
At that time Lita was Matt Hardy’s girlfriend and Kane went hard on Hardy. He even kidnapped Lita and it would later be discovered that she was pregnant. Kane claimed himself to be the father of that unborn kid. Next, he and Hardy fought a match, the winner of which will get the right to marry the Diva.
Kane emerged victorious and married Lita, only to later get into a fight. And in the middle of all this, the organization didn’t even hesitate to show Lita suffering a miscarriage. Now, that’s a bit far-fetched, especially given today’s WWE broadcasting standards. Today’s WWE watchers might not have been able to cope with such an extreme storyline.
