“I feel like he got caught up, maybe in a joke”- When Paige responded to Triple H’s indecorous comments over her

Paige was bit perplexed to hear those comments by The Game.
Former Divas Champion Paige has been a common attraction of igniting controversies in the past. Then be it her terrible relationship outcome with Alberto Del Rio or the leak of her s**-tape scandal back in 2017 for which she said ‘That scarred me. People invading my privacy, to the point where sometimes I don’t want to go out’.
She also was in headlines after her former partner Del Rio accused herself for being physically violent towards him. Further, Alberto Del Rio also claimed that he has a video proof with himself that can reveal the truth to the whole world regarding how reckless Paige was.
WWE’s Chief Operating Officer, The Game Triple H once jokingly pulled the strings over Paige’s involvement in adult content related past. Gary Cassidy who is currently working as a reporter for Inside the ropes once interviewed Triple H at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool ll and inquired about the possibility of both Edge and Paige making their in-ring returns to which HHH responded saying he would ‘love’ to see both of them back inside the squared circle one more time.
He bragged about the health of both superstars as their first priority above everything. Triple H also jokingly added that “Edge has kids, Paige…probably has some she doesn’t know of.”
The second part of this line wasn’t necessary to say about but it seemed like Hunter was having fun with Paige’s p***ographic history. Obviously that wasn’t received well by the fans overall and it felt like a little cheap statement coming directly from someone like Triple H.
Cassidy further interviewed Paige and asked about her reaction on The Game’s substandard comments where the former Divas Champion revealed the following,
“Obviously I was a little bit perplexed, a little bit taken aback, because he’s someone that I truly look up to and he’s always been very respectful, so I feel like he got caught up, maybe, in a joke, that I just don’t think was appropriate to joke about. I don’t know, I feel like it’s something that I don’t need to continually keep talking about because I feel like people have done a pretty good job of that.”
It looked like Paige was also confused in regards to those comments as she said that Hunter might have been caught in the heat of the moment. She wasn’t expecting to hear this from someone she used to respect and look up everytime she needed anything.
Triple H quickly apologized to Paige
Well, the comments that Hunter made weren’t justifiable at any cost as no one holds the right to comment on someone’s personal deeds especially when they’ve been sensitive.
Even the things got worsen to that extent for Paige as revealed during an interview with Lilian Garcia that she suffered Anorexia and contemplated suicide after his private videos got leaked on internet in 2017.
Realizing the big mistake he had made by uttering those impeccable comments from his mouth, Triple H soon issused a public apology to Paige saying he’s sorry about the terrible joke he made on her.
