When, where, and how to watch WWE Payback 2023?
Payback 2023 would not only see its return as a premium live event after three years but also benefit Pittsburgh by hosting a WWE event after five years.

WWE’s Payback event will be happening in two weeks at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. The returning event is scheduled for the 2nd of September, holding matches for both Raw and SmackDown brands. However, as the event is set to return after three years of hiatus, no match is officially booked for the show as of now.
The main show of Payback will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT on September 2 in the United States. But the kickoff show will begin an hour earlier than the scheduled time. India can witness the event at 5:30 a.m. on September 3rd, Sunday. The United Kingdom has to stay up late as the kickoff show will begin at the stroke of midnight. While the main show will begin at 1:00 am GMT on September 3.
The United States will witness Payback exclusively on the Peacock Network. While India would be backed by Sony Sports Network‘s channel to broadcast the event live on September 3. Additionally, Sony Liv will also be streaming the event live for their subscribers. On the other hand, the United Kingdom and many other countries will have to tune in to the event live on WWE Network. The other countries benefiting from the WWE Network, like the UK, are as follows:
- Australia: 10 am ACT on August 6th
- Pakistan: 5 am PKT on August 6th
- Saudi Arabia: 3 am on August 6th
- South Africa, France, and Germany: 2 am on August 6th
The last time Payback was held was in 2020, and at that time too, it returned from a three-year hiatus. But this iteration would be the first time in five years that WWE would host an event in Pittsburgh. Speculations can be made about the event now being held once every three years, considering this peculiar schedule.
WWE PLEs after Payback 2023
WWE’s Payback 2023 is set to happen on September 2nd at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. After the company gets done with the September event, a month has been kept empty for Fastlane to happen on October 7. Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will be hosting the event and seeing its return after two years.
The month of November is kept ambiguous for the WWE Universe with an undeclared event in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi event is set to hit the stage on November 4, but the name has not yet been revealed. Whereas a surprise has been planned with another event scheduled for November’s end.
Survivor Series will take place on November 25 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. The theme for this event has not been announced to be classic brand supremacy. The War Games stipulation might be recurring this year because of the heavy demand from the WWE Universe.
