The quintessential event amongst the Big Five, SummerSlam, is just a week away, but the hype and enthusiasm for it are on a whole new level. And the reason for it is the incredible match card and storylines that have followed to make up for the matches. WWE Universe can watch the Biggest Party of the Summer live from Ford Field stadium in Detroit, Michigan, on August 5 (or August 6).

The main show of the SummerSlam event will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the United States on August 5, but the kickoff will start an hour earlier in every region. For the Indian audience, the schedule would match the time of weekly shows, as the event will start at 5:30 a.m. on August 6. But The United Kingdom has to stay up late, as the kickoff event will begin on August 6 at midnight and the main show will begin at 1:00 am.

UK fans will be able to witness SummerSlam only on the WWE Network. And for India, the only option is to stream it on Sony LIV or through any of the Sony Sports Network Channels. While the US has pretty much kept it pretty much exclusive, with Peacock Network being the only option for every region in America. This year marks the 36th year of WWE holding its SummerSlam event annually while returning to its August slot. Michigan would be hosting SummerSlam after 30 years, as WWE held the last edition in 1993. The Ford Field event has successfully attracted more than 40,000 people, as reported by WrestleTix.

SummerSlam is around the corner, and it will be no surprise for them to deliver a blockbuster show. There are shows lined up every month after WWE gets done with this summer event. The succeeding month will witness Payback making its return after 2020 at PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, on September 2.

October will witness the Fastlane event making its return after two years since 2021. With October 7 being the announced date for Fastlane, the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will host a WWE event after seven years. This edition marks the first time this event has not been a part of the Road to WrestleMania shows.

November is rumored to witness two events on a fairly large scale, considering their histories. The first event is to be held in Saudi Arabia on November 5th, at an undisclosed location for now. While WWE has advertised Survivor Series to be hosted by the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on November 25.
