One of the greatest minds in the wrestling industry, William Regal, is in the news for his next working stop. Regal announced his departure from All Elite Wrestling a few days ago. This rocked the wrestling world and brought up numerous questions. But this was followed by a series of rumors.
Just before his announcement, rumors started spreading, claiming that William Regal was heading back to WWE. With oil adding up to the fiery rumors, fans considered Regal’s WWE return near to confirmed. The WWE Universe started enjoying the rumors but they still await an official confirmation.
The legend himself has now taken the lead in commenting on his return rumors. Regal has taken to Twitter to confuse everyone and kill the rumors. In his tweet, the former AEW star has also added a huge blow to the sources who brought these rumors up on the internet.
“….unless you hear it directly from ME it is either wrong or someone’s interpretation of what is really going on. And that means EVERYTHING that is being said about me from every “source”. That goes for ANYONE SAYING they have spoken or know me. A still tongue keeps a wise head!”

William Regal returning to WWE could be a stunner
Triple H has already made WWE go wonders with his excellent ideas. With the surprising returns in the past few months, fans have been on the skies and the Game has passed the creative test with flying colors. Among the others, William Regal’s return would be a huge plus for the company.
William Regal had a huge hand in the development of NXT in the past couple of years. A return as the General Manager of NXT would continue the development brand’s success. In a room full of ideas, Regal could also return as a manager to a main roster star.
With the rumors sparking light and William Regal himself eliminating the electricity, it will be very interesting to see how things turn out. With a William Regal return, fans can expect more wildness in the creative pitches. In the end, the only thing left, is an official statement which could be released anytime soon.
