WrestleMania is the most well-known and lasting event in professional wrestling history. It is one of WWE’s “Big Five” events, along with the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, SummerSlam, and Money in the Bank, and is regarded as one of the year’s most important yearly events. WrestleMania has been known to help countless Top Superstars achieve stardom. WrestleMania was developed by Vince McMahon, and the name was suggested by ring announcer Howard Finkel. The Flagship event has helped transform the Professional wrestling industry.

WrestleMania held the record for highest attended indoor sports event in the world with 93,173 people in attendance, until it was broken by 2010 NBA All-Star Game in February 2010 with an attendance of 101,713. Celebrities and athletes such as Aretha Franklin, Cyndi Lauper, Muhammad Ali, Mr. T, Pamela Anderson, Mike Tyson, Donald Trump, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Pete Rose, Burt Reynolds, Mickey Rourke, Snoop Dogg, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Gronkowski, Shaquille O’Neal have participated or featured themselves at WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 38 was a two-night event that happened in April

The 38th annual of the Flagship event was the second one to be staged at AT&T Stadium after WM 32 in 2016 and the fourth one to be held in the state of Texas. A total of 16 matches were on the schedule, with seven on the first day and nine on the second. Stone Cold Steve Austin beat Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred bout that served as the first night’s main event. This was Stone Cold’s first match since WrestleMania XIX in 2003.

Other noteworthy contests were Cody Rhodes’ comeback to WWE and defeating Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair’s victory over Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Bianca Belair’s victory over Becky Lynch to claim the Raw Women’s Championship.

The main event featured Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, with the match happening for the third time at the Flagship event, after WM 31 WM 34. The bout was advertised by WWE as “The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time,” It was a Winner Takes All contest for the two World championships owned by the promotion; the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. The match was won by Reigns on the second night. The Night 2 also featured a match between Vince McMahon and former footballer Pat McAfee, McAfee had defeated Theory prior to his match against Vince McMahon. Mr. McMahon wrestled his first match in 12 years and defeated McAfee with the assistance of Theory.

Charlotte Jones, the chief brand officer for the Dallas Cowboys, discussed WrestleMania 38’s enormous popularity. Jim Ross, the mayor of Arlington, expressed his delight at being present for the occasion.

“On behalf of the city of Arlington, we congratulate WWE and their fans for surpassing $200 million in economic impact for the first time in WrestleMania history. We are glad to have shared this success and look forward to the opportunity for AT&T Stadium to host a future WrestleMania.”

The next WrestleMania event will begin on 1st April 2023 and end on 2nd April 2023, As of now it is reported that the event will take place at SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California.
