Wrestling fan calls out WWE for major blunder in the Men’s Royal Rumble match with proofs

The Royal Rumble 2024 was a special event filled with many surprises and returns. Both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches were excellent. However, sometimes, amid the rush during the match, fans ignore the small mistakes and botches that occur. One of those mistakes was caught by a hardcore wrestling fan.

The L.W.O. member, Carlito, participated in the match, but his performance was disappointing. He lasted for only three minutes, which ended with Bobby Lashley swiftly eliminating him. However, the unknown truth was that the 44-year-old veteran was never ‘eliminated’ from the match. 

A hardcore wrestling fan shared a video clip on X showing the major blunder with proof. In the video, another superstar, Karrion Kross, and Carlito were going back and forth. Kross used his muscle power to slam him on the mat, making Carlito re-group under the rope. 

The next entrant was Kross’s arch-rival, Lashley, who lost an opportunity to win the United States Title because of him. Both superstars stared at each other with Carlito on the ring apron. Kross dodged an attack from Lashley, but unfortunately, The Caribbean Cool couldn’t. He was thrashed out of the ring, but as per the Royal Rumble rules, he was never eliminated as he never went over the top rope.

The fans also realized the huge mistake made by WWE and claimed that the company should address the situation. Since his return to the company, the 44-year-old hasn’t done anything notable. He has been in a long-term rivalry with Santos Escobar, who betrayed Rey Mysterio by brutally attacking him. Only time will tell what’s next for him in WWE.

WWE veteran Vince Russo lands a criticism on a dangerous spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble match

The 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble was the best women’s match by far in the eyes of many fans. There were many surprises, ground-breaking returns, and debuts. The fans were in awe of the fantastic spots performed by the talented superstars. 

However, WWE veteran Vince Russo was not happy about one particular spot. Bianca Belair and TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, performed on the ring apron. During a recent episode of Writing With Russo, he questioned why they still performed the spot on the hardest part of the ring. Grace admitted that they practiced the move five times and didn’t get it right, ultimately putting their bodies on the line.

I saw a video today, Denise Hollywood [Salcedo], was interviewing her and she is saying that she and Bianca Belair practiced this spot for the Royal Rumble. They practiced this spot before the Royal Rumble on the apron of the ring about five times, and they couldn't get it right. Bro, she said they practiced it five times, didn't get it right, and went out there and did it anyway. It's like, why? Why?!"

The wrestling business has evolved now. In the modern era, wrestlers put their bodies on the line to entertain fans. The spot was well received by the fans, who appreciated both superstars’ performances in the Royal Rumble match. In fact, the WWE Universe hopes to see more TNA superstars, especially Jordynne Grace, in the foreseeable future.
