“TK should have pressed charges”- Wrestling fans shocked as 39-year-old star takes a sarcastic jab at Tony Khan in reference to CM Punk firing from AEW on SmackDown 

The rivalry between the two biggest wrestling companies is taking the world by storm. Both sides are no strangers to taking jabs at one another. This rivalry gained more fuel after CM Punk‘s return at Survivor Series. And now, commentator Corey Graves took a sarcastic jab at AEW founder and co-owner, Tony Khan. 

Kevin Owens and Austin Theory went one-on-one in the eight-man tournament for the No. 1 contender for the U.S. Title. During the match, Graves addressed the issue of why the duo of Theory and Grayson Waller tried to injure Owens’ wrist. He backed the duo, implying that they did it for their safety. Moreover, this was the exact reason Tony gave when he announced that Punk had been fired by AEW.

The Best in the World was released from AEW after a physical altercation backstage with Jack Perry. A few weeks ago, on an episode of SmackDown, Owens started a rivalry with the duo and punched both of them at the same time. To take revenge, Theory and Waller tried to destroy the Prizefighter’s wrist. The latter took revenge by defeating Theory and progressing to the next round of the tournament.

Fans online have noticed that AEW has taken multiple jabs at their rival company while WWE never really looked at them as their competition. But with Punk’s return, fans won’t be surprised if things get even more heated now. It will be interesting to see who benefits from this from a long-term perspective. 

Fans react to the statement delivered by Corey Graves on commentary during SmackDown

Corey Graves is well-known for his quirky commentary. As a result, his alleged jab at Tony Khan sparked a lot of attention online. Fans quickly noticed what Corey Graves had said in his commentary. Some fans hilariously claimed that the AEW owner should immediately charge the former NXT superstar.
