Paige has started a new beginning by making her debut in AEW. However, her career in WWE doesn’t seem to give her the required closure. She is often found stuck in some or the other issues related to her former company.

Paige had a short but impressive WWE run. She holds multiple records in the company and has a great fan following. Her last years in the company were tremendously hard as she fought a lot of battles. Her battle with her physical health took a great toll on her health and she eventually had to quit from the company.

She had suffered from a neck injury that kept her away from the ring for almost about 4 months. During this period there were many allegations on her for intaking illegal substances and also for violating the company’s policies. However, after a successful surgery, she got back to the ring. 

That was probably her biggest mistake. In one of the matches that happened after her return, she suffered a major blow on her neck preventing her from further in-ring action. She continued to make multiple appearances in the show before finally declaring herself retired.

Paige has now made her debut in AEW that took her entire fan community in a wave of joy. The former WWE superstar is, however, yet to make a debut. Jim Cornette spoke on the Jim Cornette Experience where he ruled out the possibility of Paige’s WWE retirement. 

“How is that possible that if she was able to be cleared medically that the WWE wouldn’t have cleared her medically specially while she was under contract to them and they were paying her?” questioned Cornette. He also added his perception on WWE’s reaction to her condition on WWE.

“Maybe they said well, she can’t get cleared medically to our standards so maybe she should go somewhere where the standards are lower.” Whatever the case maybe, but some fans are extremely worried for Paige (now Saraya’s) health. They do not want her to injure herself again as she did in WWE.
