WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is one of the strongest women ever to step foot in the ring. Beth Phoenix was a dominant force during her time in the company. The Hall of Famer was dubbed The Glamazon because she was the ideal combination of Beauty and Power. Phoenix participated in some of the greatest matches in WWE history, including her match against Mickie James and Melina, in which she scooped up both women to attempt a Canadian backbreaker but failed. Even if The Hall of Famer was unable to properly complete the move, it showed her tremendous power in the ring.
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix was decent on mic and portrayed the heel persona very well in her career. She will be remembered most for her amazing in-ring skills and for being the second woman after Chyna to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble. It was then that she eliminated the Great Khali, who is so powerful that not even two men can knock him out of the ring. Phoenix retired from wrestling and left WWE in 2012 to focus on her family life.
She returned to wrestling after her Hall of Fame induction and has wrestled a few times since then. The WWE Hall of Famer has also been a color commentator on NXT Brand. The WWE Hall of Famer has been a 3-time WWE Women’s Champion, 1-time WWE Divas Champion, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix spoke about teaming up with husband Edge
In 2022, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix returned to WWE on the Day 1 live event, during which she helped her real-life husband Edge win the match against The Miz. Soon both husband and wife were involved in a feud with The Miz and his wife Maryse. Edge and Beth Phoenix begun teaming since Day 1 and were scheduled for a mixed tag match at Royal Rumble.
Phoenix called it a once in a lifetime opportunity to team with her husband. The WWE Hall of Famer said that performing together with her husband fulfilled their dream and would be great to perform in front of her family and also at her favorite Pay Per View event. Both the WWE Hall of Famers defeated The Miz and Maryse at the Royal Rumble Live event.
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix said on Corey Graves’ After the Bell Podcast in 2020 that she was angry with her husband Edge after his encounter against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36. Edge was delighted for his first singles battle in 9 years, according to Beth. She stated that Edge was at the performance center and that she was at home but was sweating bullets and anxiously awaiting Edge’s response.
The WWE Hall of Famer stated that she had expected a communication confirming his well-being and that she had last heard from him around 2-3 hours ago. Beth stated that when Edge finally communicated that he is OK, she berated him. The WWE Hall of Famer expressed her deep concern.
“So, it was interesting because Adam got some heat from me because after he finished his WrestleMania match – this was his first big singles match back, he was so excited. So, you’re just reveling in the moment. He was at the Performance Center and I’m home. And I’m sweating bullets waiting for that text, or something like, ‘I’m OK.’ And it was like a good two or three hours before I heard from him. I knew what time they started, and I was like, ‘wait a minute.’ He finally told me he was OK. And I gave him hell over that, but I’m just worried.”
Edge and Beth Phoenix started dating in 2012 and married in 2016. The couple has two daughters.
