Perhaps one of the most underutilized talents on the present roster has to be Chad Gable. An in-ring technician par excellence, it’s hard to understand why he wasn’t pushed earlier.

Chad Gable, a legitimate Olympian, debuted in WWE in late 2013. He soon paired with Jason Jordan to form American Alpha, a tag team that specialized in technical wrestling prowess. Gable is considered a tag team specialist, having successfully teamed up with the likes of Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Roode (with whom he won the RAW tag team championship), and later Otis.

If recent leaks are to be believed, Gable is in line for a major push after the incredible performances he’s notched up of late. It cannot be stated enough how good a technical wrestler Chad Gable is. His ability to perform power moves like a heavyweight and move like a high flyer is extremely impressive.

What the future holds for Chad Gable

The string of matches he competed in, like with Cody Rhodes, would appear to have impressed the higher-ups. A Chad Gable match is almost always entertaining and technically brilliant. He’s already established himself as a prolific tag-team player; hopefully, this push will lead to a good singles run. His last singles run was the stale Shorty G storyline, which fell flat on its face.

Hopefully, this time around the run is more meaningful and possibly ends in a title shot or a title reign. Gable could be a really good candidate to end the reign of Gunther. That would make for a compelling storyline and an even better match.

Gable would make a formidable US champion too. Considering his Olympian background, it would appear to be a logical choice to take the title off Austin Theory. Considering the fact he’s kind of a heel on TV, it would be interesting to see how they decide to give him a push.

You cannot say enough about the technical ability of Chad Gable. The ease with which he performs and is a relatively safe worker. If given a proper push, Chad Gable can become the most lovable babyface of the company.
