Amidst the ongoing rumors, WWE might've hinted at a Sasha Banks return in a similar way to CM Punk's shocking comeback.

A lot seems to be happening in the WWE at this moment. One of the primary fodders for the rumor mill for the past few weeks has been Sasha Banks‘ possible return. It looks as if her case has begun showing similarities with the Second City Saint. The event that has caught the fans’ attention is the recent update of the Boss’ profile on the WWE website.
For many weeks, the idea has remained afloat about how the injured former IWGP Women’s Champion might be on her way to WWE. While a fair share of doubts and conflicting reports exist, some fans have uncovered a pattern that has begun to unfold around the multi-time Women’s Champion.
For those who don’t know, CM Punk‘s profile was also updated days before his earth-shattering return at Survivor Series 2023. So it might be that WWE has already taken its first step towards bringing back The Blueprint under Triple H‘s close eye.
Those familiar with the ongoings in the wrestling community are aware of the attention that Sasha Banks has gained in recent weeks. She has seemingly started a bidding war between the two leading promotions, WWE and AEW. Many observers believe that the answer to this dilemma is around the corner, and fans can’t wait to see where The Boss shows up.
WWE apparently gives Sasha Banks’ finishing move to another superstar
While the situation around Sasha Banks’ deal with WWE remains under clouds of doubt, it seems WWE has handed over her finisher to another star. The Prodigy of NXT, Roxanne Perez used the submission maneuver, the Bank Statement, at NXT New Year’s Evil. The former NXT Women’s Champion recently squared with Arianna Grace and gave her one hell of a beating.
For those who don’t know, this is the name of the submission hold that’s been used by Sasha Banks. While Perez intended to show her brutal side to the fans, it seems the use of the move could have more meaning. As of late, many have given up on Banks making her return to WWE.
However, scrutiny explains how this might be another step in the pattern of returns. To elaborate, even in the case of CM Punk, the Japanese star, Shinsuke Nakamura performed a GTS, his finisher, weeks before he returned. With WWE updating Banks’ profile and bringing back the move, fans can’t help but speculate that something is brewing in the mix.
