Royal Rumble is a few days away and the fans are already predicting the potential return of their favorite superstars. One of those superstars the whole WWE Universe is hoping for is Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks. There have been several rumors regarding her, but the latest tease could confirm her return at the Royal Rumble PLE.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Santos Escobar wrestled in a singles match against Carlito, continuing their intense rivalry. During the match, SmackDown commentator Corey Graves incorporated the words ‘Sky is the limit’ in his sentence, referencing the famous theme song of The Boss. The interesting fact is that the commentators teased CM Punk‘s return the same way – giving potential teases of commentary.

Sasha Banks was released by WWE on May 16th, 2022 during an episode of Raw due to a creative dispute with Vince McMahon. She was one-half of the tag team champions with Naomi and walked out of the company. The 32-year-old suffered an ankle injury against Willow Nightingale in NJPW, and out of action since then.

The Boss was recently seen training with Tyler Breeze and Bayley ahead of Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see whether Sasha Banks makes her emphatic return at the Royal Rumble PLE or if the fans will see her at a different promotion.
