Tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw will emanate from Grand Rapids. It will also serve as the red brand’s go-home show for this weekend’s Survivor Series. But apart from that, WWE has discussed introducing a major overhaul to one aspect of the three-hour-long event. Having said that, Fightful Select has reported that a brand-new theme song for WWE Raw could be debuting very soon.

The report added that it might be inculcated into the show as early as this week. Moreover, the early indication from the source suggests that it would be yet another Def Rebel production. If WWE does change up the opening soundtrack of its flagship show, it would mark the end of Vo Williams’ Greatness song. The latter has been serving as the official theme song of Raw since November 22, 2021.

It’s been almost a couple of years, and fans were clamoring for this change. However, considering the kind of dismal tracks Def Rebel has produced of late, it remains to be seen what they’re going to come up with for Raw. Now that it’s almost certain that the WWE Universe will at least get to hear a change to Raw’s opening tonight, the promotion has loaded up the card as well.

First and foremost, a WarGames advantage match was set. The Judgment Day will take on Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso to determine who gets an early edge this Saturday in Chicago. Also, Drew McIntyre will do some explaining following his unceremonious heel turn last week. Also, Becky Lynch will take on Xia Li, and Chad Gable will go one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura.

Will Randy Orton return on WWE Raw tonight?

One of the biggest things the fans will be looking forward to this week is the impending return of Randy Orton. Last week, after Drew McIntyre cost Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso their tag team title match, The American Nightmare teased something.

After Raw went off-air, Rhodes dropped a spoiler alert that he too has friends, and the crowd erupted in The Viper’s chants. It’s now obvious that McIntyre will join forces with The Judgment Day after what he did last week. That leaves Cody Rhodes and other babyfaces with a man short.

For what it’s worth, Randy Orton will likely fill that void. A few weeks ago, WrestleVotes reported that WWE is planning for The Apex Predator to return by the Survivor Series weekend. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful corroborated the report.
