Fastlane 2023 was an amazing show, filled with several moments. The opener saw the pairing of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso capture the Undisputed Tag Team Championships against The Judgment Day. Despite the huge victory, fans were talking more about the post-event press conference antics of the new champions.

“Main Event” Jey came out with his new remixed theme music with a lot of enthusiasm. Furthermore, he walked around, seemingly murmuring the lyrics to the song. After sitting down, Jey Uso hilariously spoke into the mic, saying, “This work? It do. It’s just me, Uce,” before letting out a chuckle.

The former tag team champion was overjoyed and having fun in the presser. Throughout it, he would yell “Yeet!”, making his new partner, Cody Rhodes, break into laughter. Moreover, Jey broke character at one point, praising his brothers, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, for competing against John Cena.

Needless to say, the duo’s press conference was one of the main highlights of the weekend. Of course, the American Nightmare confirmed that they had a few drinks on the bus before their segment. Therefore, many fans believe that was the reason why Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso looked a bit buzzed.

After another successful PLE, WWE held its customary press conference for Fastlane. However, one of the segments ended up stealing not only the presser but maybe the entire show. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso seemingly looked either high or drunk as they filled the post-event show with many hilarious moments.

Fans online enjoyed the pair’s press conference, with many insinuating that they were high. Meanwhile, others pointed out that Jey Uso was left alone with Matt Riddle’s bags after the latter was released, as The Bro was infamous for substance usage.
